CASCADES VOLCANOES TOUR

Program Description: An exciting educational tour of  the majestic Cascades Volcanoes that compose the eastern rim of the Ring of Fire. Learn about the geology, ecology and natural history of one of the most geologically active areas on Earth. This tour will be a learning experience for the whole family. Planned stops include Lassen Peak, Crater Lake, Lava Beds National Volcanic Monument, Newberry Caldera, the High Desert Museum and Mount. St. Helens. Activities include natural history lectures, nature hikes, hands-on science for children, Visitor Center tours, and National Park Service Interpreter presentations.
